OUR FOCUS IS ON
cultivating a generation of strong women leaders.
Growing up as first-generation immigrants, we have witnessed firsthand the struggles that women from immigrant families face in adapting to a new country, learning a new language, entering the workforce, and dealing with domestic abuse, among other challenges. We saw a gap in resources that were culturally sensitive and diverse, and we decided to create the Center for Women in Excellence.
Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive space where immigrant women in Minnesota can overcome barriers and achieve success in all aspects of life. We offer tailored programs and services, including women's wellness, skill-based training, mental health support, and entrepreneurship, among others. Our experienced team and passionate volunteers are dedicated to empowering immigrant women to become the next leaders and achieve their full potential. We started this non-profit organization
